Delete a chat conversation

When managing your Oode storefront, it's essential to keep your chat inbox organized. If you no longer need to keep a specific chat conversation, you can easily delete it.

Follow the steps below to delete a chat conversation:

Step 1: Go to Chat

Log in to your Oode account and navigate to the dashboard. On the left panel, click on the Chat tab. This will open the chat inbox, displaying all your incoming and outgoing messages.

Step 2: Select the Chat Conversation

Locate the chat conversation that you want to delete. Click on the channel or chat thread to open it. You will see the entire conversation history with that particular customer.

Step 3: Delete the Conversation

In the top right corner of the chat window, you will find the menu or three vertical dots. Click on this icon to reveal a dropdown menu. Select Delete conversation.

Step 4: Confirm Deletion

A confirmation prompt will appear to verify that you want to proceed with the deletion. Click Delete conversation and you are done!

Once confirmed, the chat conversation will be permanently removed from your inbox, and you won't be able to retrieve it.

It's important to note that deleting a chat conversation is irreversible. Therefore, exercise caution when deleting conversations, especially if they contain crucial information.
