How to add a custom language for your storefront

Oode has now added a feature where you can upload another language to your storefront so you can serve your local clients better!

To add a custom language to your storefront, go to Language under the Storefront tab on your left panel, or visit https://app.oode.com/dashboard/online-shop/language.



Upload language translation directly

There are two ways you can upload the text in your language.

  • Translate directly on the web
  • Download language file (JSON), translate it using a text editor or a language translation tool and submit it back to Oode


If you don't submit a translation segment/key, Oode will use English as default

Edit language manually

Once the language file is uploaded, you can edit the text manually by checking individual fields and ensuring every single section is correct.


Scroll down, click save, and you are done!

You customers can now view your storefront in their language.
