An overview of your storefront

An overview of your storefront

The Oode Storefront is your business website or online store. This is where your customers visit to check out your profile and the services and subscriptions you offer.

To create an Oode storefront for your business, you first need to sign up and create an account.

Once you are inside the Oode platform, go to the left panel of your screen and select Storefront. Under this section, you can create your own online store and make changes along the way.

Your Storefront is divided into six sections:

  • Content
  • Appearance
  • Reviews
  • SEO
  • Legal, and
  • Custom Code

Content

The Content section of your storefront is pretty straightforward and contains the overview of yourself and your business. This is what your customers see right away when they visit your website or online store.

The Content section is divided into four more subsections that you can edit and update anytime: About, FAQs, Contact, and Social Links.

About

The About section of your storefront content is the summary of your business. This is usually the first thing your visitor checks to gather information about you, your qualifications, and what type of business you run.

In this section, you can enter and edit the following information:

  • Name
  • Oode URL
  • Storefront banner (for desktop and mobile view)
  • Designation (or Professional Title)
  • Time Zone
  • Tags (Professional Certifications, Degrees, Titles)
  • Shop Services Label
  • About Me

FAQs

The FAQs section of your storefront content is where you can add the most common questions people ask about your business.

Contact

The Contact section of your storefront content is where your customers can reach you or make inquiries about your business and services.

All information you add to this section will appear on the right side of your storefront and inside the chat bubble located at the bottom-right corner of your page.

The Social Links section of your storefront content is where you can add shortcuts to your other channels or platforms outside of Oode.

Your social links will appear on your actual storefront at the top-right corner of your page.

Appearance

The Appearance section is where you can change the overall look of your Oode storefront from the layout, preset or theme, colors, typography, etc.

This is your chance to have fun matching your storefront to your brand and personality.

On the right side of your screen, you can see a preview of your storefront as you make changes to its appearance.

Reviews

Most customers check reviews or previous customers’ feedback before making a transaction with a business online.

With the our Review section on your Oode storefront, you can add what your previous customers have to say about doing business with you. This adds credibility to your business and encourages your visitors to take action.

SEO

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of optimizing a website to improve its visibility and ranking in the search engine results pages. With our built-in SEO tool, you can edit your SEO title, meta description, and SEO banner so your storefront appears on search results.

The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are important for both users and website owners as they set out the terms and conditions that govern the use of the website and outline how personal information is collected, stored, and used.

Terms of Service (TOS)

The terms of service is a legal agreement between the website owner and users that outlines the rules and restrictions for using the website. It may include information on user conduct, intellectual property rights, and other legal issues related to website use.

Privacy Policy

The privacy policy is a document that outlines how a website collects, stores, and uses personal information from its users. It should explain what information is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used. The privacy policy should also explain how user data is protected and how users can control their personal information.

Having clear and concise legal pages is important for protecting the interests of both the storefront owner and its users or visitors. It helps to establish trust and credibility with visitors and can also help to avoid legal issues down the line.

Custom Code

Personalize or add more features to your storefront with a Custom Code. This section allows you to enter a programming code if you want to add more functionality to Oode’s pre-made storefront templates.
