Set up and manage your availability
Let your customers know when your business is open and when they can reach you. Oode allows you to create your own schedule and set up your calendar to make it possible for your customers to book your services.
There are two ways you can set or edit your availability:
1. Through your Content tab when you build or edit your storefront.
Your availability will be shown in this section as Opening hours.
These hours are displayed on your Oode storefront so your customers will know if you are open for business or if they should come back at another time.
2. Through your Settings tab where you can also add specific details to your schedule such as intervals, event buffers, or how many sessions or bookings you are willing to accept each day.
In this help article, we will focus on editing your availability through your Settings.
The Availability tab is where you edit your schedule, and it is located under Settings on the left panel.
By default, your schedule is set to 9 to 5, but if you want to change your hours, simply click on a schedule.
A pop-up window will appear and ask you to edit your availability.
Click on the drop down menu and select the hours you want to display on your calendar.
Create Time Intervals
Take control over your work schedule.
If you need breaks in between your working hours, select the + new interval option and input another time interval. For example, you can split your working hours from 9:00 to 11:00 and 13:00-17:00 to free up your lunch time.
If you want to get rid of an interval, simply click on the trash icon to the right of the schedule to delete it.
Your hours are entirely up to you so feel free to select whatever hours you feel like working. You can set a three-hour or 10-hour working period, depending on your preference.

If your schedule or availability keeps on changing, don’t worry!
You can still make changes from your account manager after publishing. This makes it more convenient to take control over your own schedule.
Apply schedule to multiple days
Choose which days to apply your available hours. If the working hours you select only applies to a specific date, click Apply to [Date] only.
However, if you have a recurring schedule, you can choose to apply the working hours to the same day each week by clicking Apply to all [Days].
If you have the same working hours for several days in a week, you can also select Apply to multiple and choose which days you’d like to apply the working hours you just selected.
Advanced setting for availability
Your schedule is fully customisable. This means you can always edit your availability whenever you want to or whenever you want to set a certain schedule for a limited period of time.
If you want to customise how many sessions you can accommodate per day or how many minutes your break times in between sessions last for, click on the Advanced tab (under Availability) and make necessary changes.
You can select:
- How many sessions you want to have per day,
- How many hours before an appointment do you allow your customers to book you, and
- How long do you need your breaks to be in between sessions (event buffers)
After adding details to your availability, simply select Update and you are done!
Your customers will be able to see your availability whenever they check out any of your services or subscriptions.
